Dusty lemon on black

Most black suits carry white or gold. Dusty lemon is a softer, chalkier yellow — warmer than white, quieter than a bright yellow — and against black it reads as contrast without glare. The flowers are drawn in a stylised way rather than realistically, so the print has a graphic, contemporary look rather than a traditional one.

Hand wash only, in cold water with a mild detergent. Dry in shade rather than direct sunlight — sun fades black faster than most colours, and it dulls a printed cotton. Wash separately the first time, as a dark cotton can release a little dye on the first wash.
