Dusty lemon on black

Most black suits carry white or gold. Dusty lemon is a softer, chalkier yellow — warmer than white, quieter than a bright yellow — and against black it reads as contrast without glare. The flowers are drawn in a stylised way rather than realistically, so the print has a graphic, contemporary look rather than a traditional one.

Why a black everyday suit is worth having

Black is the most practical base colour there is. It does not show a spill the way a pale suit does, it does not fade visibly in the way a bright colour does, and it goes with any dupatta, any bag and any footwear you already own. This suit does not need dry cleaning. Hand wash it in cold water with a mild detergent, and dry it in shade rather than direct sun. Black in particular holds its depth much better out of direct sunlight.

Hand wash only, in cold water with a mild detergent. Dry in shade rather than direct sunlight — sun fades black faster than most colours, and it dulls a printed cotton. Wash separately the first time, as a dark cotton can release a little dye on the first wash.

Unstitched orders are dispatched within 48 working hours of order confirmation. Orders placed on a Sunday or a public holiday are processed the next working day. Once dispatched, delivery across India takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location. If you have asked us to stitch the suit, allow 7 to 15 working days before dispatch, depending on the work involved.
