The shirt piece is 3 metres rather than the usual 2.5, which is what lets this set be stitched up to size 7XL. Most unstitched suits stop at 5XL simply because there is not enough cloth to go further.

About the Fabrics

Muslin is a fine, soft cotton weave that breathes well and stays comfortable through a long day. Chinon is a light, fluid fabric with a soft fall — it drapes more easily than the shirt fabric, so the dupatta moves well rather than sitting stiff. The bottom is muslin silk, which gives a stitched salwar or trouser a little more body.
