What this is, and what it isn't

The print is bandhani-style, not tied-and-dyed bandhani. Real bandhani is made by tying thousands of tiny knots by hand before dyeing; this carries the same dotted pattern as a print. We say so because the difference is real and the price reflects it.

The dupatta border is woven in the Banarasi manner. We call it Banarasi-style — the weave is the claim, and the fabric is muslin, not silk.

Zari is metallic thread. It catches light beautifully and it is also the most delicate part of this suit — see the care notes below.

Who this suit is for

Well-suited to festive daywear — a puja, a family lunch, a mehendi, an office festival day. Firozy is a clear blue-green that reads fresh rather than heavy, so it works in daylight better than most festive colours.

Not for you if you want a statement piece. This is a pretty, wearable suit rather than a showstopper. If you're dressing for the main wedding function, look at something heavier.

Stitching

Stitching is available as a separate service and is charged in addition to the price of the fabric. Message us and we'll confirm the cost and the timeline for your measurements. Stitched orders take 7–15 working days before dispatch.

Care

Dry clean only. Muslin needs it, and so does the zari. Never iron directly over the zari embroidery — press from the reverse with a cloth in between. Keep perfume and hairspray off the worked areas: moisture and spirits tarnish metallic thread.

No. We have a no-return policy. Approved claims are resolved as store credit valid for 12 months, not a monetary refund.
