Heavy georgette, not ordinary georgette

The two are not the same cloth. Ordinary georgette is light and fine and falls close to the body. Heavy georgette has more weight in the yarn, so it hangs with authority rather than fluttering — the fall is deeper, the drape holds its line, and it carries embroidery without the fabric puckering under the weight of the work.

That last point is why it is used here. A fine georgette under this much embroidery would pull out of shape; a heavier cloth takes it.

Blue, in a range that is mostly black

Most of our Luxe Edit is black. Fiza is the blue one, and that is the reason to choose it — the same considered construction, in a colour you can wear to an occasion where black would read as severe.

Why this is different from an ordinary suit

On a regular embroidered suit the work is already fixed to the cloth and your tailor cuts around wherever it falls. Here the layout is planned first. You tell us your height, whether you want a short or long slit, and how much flare — and the work is placed to suit the garment you are actually going to wear.

That is what a Luxe Edit piece is, and it is why it takes longer and why it cannot be resold.

• Prepaid only. No Cash on Delivery. Two reasons: a customised piece cannot be resold if a delivery is refused, and at ₹6,500 this sits above our ₹6,000 COD ceiling in any case.
• No returns or exchanges. Made to your own measurements and specification, so it cannot go back into stock. A manufacturing defect, transit damage, or the wrong item being sent are unaffected — see the FAQ.

Care

Dry clean only. Georgette distorts if hand washed and wrung, and the embroidery will not take it. Never iron over the embroidery — press from the reverse with a cloth in between.

What does "made to your specification" mean?

You give us your height, your slit preference (short or long) and how much flare you want. The embroidery is then placed to suit that garment, rather than being pre-fixed and cut around.

What size can it be stitched to?

Up to 5XL.

How long does it take?

Dispatch in 7 working days, then 3–7 business days for delivery within India.

Can I order this for a wedding date?

Can I pay cash on delivery?

No. This piece is prepaid only — it is customised, and it is also above our ₹6,000 Cash on Delivery ceiling.

Can I return or exchange it?

No. Customised orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Claims for a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or the wrong item being sent are unaffected: email a 360° unboxing video to care@studiojazzldh.com within 24 hours of delivery. Approved claims are settled as store credit valid 12 months.

How do I clean it?

Dry clean only. Never iron directly over the embroidery.
