No lining needed

All three pieces are cotton, and the fabric is opaque enough to be stitched without a lining. That matters more than it sounds: a lining means buying extra fabric and paying your tailor to attach it, and it adds a layer of heat in summer. Without it, the suit costs less to finish and stays cooler to wear.

Hand washable at home

This suit does not need dry cleaning. Hand wash it in cold water with a mild detergent, and dry it in shade rather than direct sun to protect the print. For a suit you will wear often, that is the difference between something you reach for and something that sits waiting for a trip to the cleaner.

The print
