Twill organza is not plain organza

Worth explaining, because the two look similar until you handle them. Twill organza is woven with a diagonal twill structure rather than the plain over-under weave of ordinary organza. The diagonal gives it a subtle directional texture and a little more softness — it still holds its shape, but it does not have quite the same glassy stiffness.

The dupatta here is plain organza, so the two pieces behave slightly differently against each other. That is deliberate.

Blue on lemon

A proper contrast rather than a tonal one. Blue embroidery on a pale yellow ground is a cool colour against a warm one, which is why it reads crisp rather than soft — and why the work is visible from a distance instead of only up close.

Said plainly: organza is not a cooling fabric

You will see organza sold as breathable summer wear. It isn't — twill organza included. It is crisp, tightly woven and holds its shape, and that structure is exactly why it does not breathe.

The bottom is art silk

Art silk is a man-made fibre. It is not silk and we do not sell it as silk. It falls softly under a structured organza kurta, which a stiffer bottom would not.

Who this suit is for

Festive daywear — a mehendi, a haldi, a daytime function. Lemon is a daylight colour and the blue work keeps it from being sugary.

Not the one for an evening reception. Pale yellow loses definition under artificial light.

Stitching

Stitching is a separate service, charged on top of the fabric price. Organza is sheer, so most customers have the shirt lined — the lining colour changes how the lemon reads. Stitched orders take 7–15 working days before dispatch.

Care

Dry clean only. Organza needs it and the embroidery pulls in a home wash.

Never iron over the embroidery. Press the plain organza on a low setting from the reverse. Store folded with a cloth layer — organza creases set hard.
