This cut is 2.25 metres, giving a shirt length up to 45 inches. Several of our suits run to 2.5 metres. If you wear long kurtas, or you are tall, measure one you already own before ordering — 45 inches is the ceiling here.

We publish the figure because it is the commonest reason an unstitched suit disappoints, and almost nobody states it.

All three pieces are cotton

Unusual at this price. Most suits in this range pair a cotton shirt with a synthetic bottom because it is cheaper. Here the bottom and dupatta are cotton too, so the whole set breathes.

No lining needed

The cotton is opaque enough to wear on its own — one less layer, one less line on the tailoring bill.

The neck work

Worked detail at the neckline over the print. It gives your tailor a fixed point to build the neck shape around, so tell them it is there before cutting.

How to wash it

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Dry in shade. Wash separately the first time.

Some colour releases on the first wash. Washing it alone that first time is the whole precaution. Shade-drying keeps mustard from going dull.

Who this suit is for

Everyday wear — work, errands, ordinary days. Mustard is warm and earthy and forgiving through a working day, which is what you want from a suit at this price.

Care

Hand wash only, cold water, mild detergent. Dry in shade. Wash separately the first time. Iron on medium while slightly damp, avoiding the neck work.
