Olive organza suit with thread work and a brasso dupatta — unstitched 3-piece. You receive the fabric pieces, not a finished garment. Shirt, bottom and dupatta, 2.5 metres each, ready for your tailor.

What you get

  • Shirt: organza with thread work — 2.5 m
  • Bottom: taffeta — 2.5 m
  • Dupatta: brasso — 2.5 m
  • Colour: olive
  • Stitchable to size 5XL

What brasso actually is

Brasso is a burnout fabric. Parts of the weave are chemically dissolved away, leaving sheer areas beside opaque ones in the same piece of cloth — the pattern is made by what has been removed rather than by anything added.

It is why the dupatta has depth without embroidery on it, and why it drapes softer than the organza shirt. It is also why it needs careful handling: the sheer sections are thinner than the rest of the cloth and will pull if snagged.

Said plainly: organza is not a cooling fabric

You will see organza sold as breathable summer wear. It isn't. Organza is crisp, sheer and tightly woven, and it holds its shape — that structure is what makes it beautiful and exactly why it does not breathe.

Buy this for how it looks and moves, not to stay cool in it.

Why this costs less than our other organza suits

The work. This one has thread embroidery; our ice blue and butter yellow organzas carry zari with sequins and beadwork, which is considerably more labour. The fabric is not the difference — the hours in the surface work are.

If you want the organza look without the embellishment, this is the one to take.

Who this suit is for

Daytime functions and festive daywear. Olive is an unusual choice in organza, where pastels and brights dominate — it reads more grown-up, and it suits people who find the usual festive palette too sweet.

Not the one if you want heavy embellishment. This is a restrained suit. For shine, our zari organzas are where to look.

Stitching

Stitching is a separate service, charged on top of the fabric price. Message us with what you need and we will confirm the cost and the timeline. Stitched orders take 7–15 working days before dispatch.

Care

Dry clean only. Organza, brasso and thread work all need it.

Never iron over the thread work. On the brasso dupatta, press on a low setting only — the burnout areas are thinner than the rest of the cloth and take heat badly.

Store folded with a cloth layer. Organza creases set hard, and brasso snags.

Delivery

Ready stock, dispatched within 48 working hours. Delivery in 3–7 business days across India with a tracking link. Shipping is calculated at checkout for orders under ₹3,000. Cash on Delivery is available at a flat ₹150.

Frequently asked questions

What is brasso?

A burnout fabric. Parts of the weave are chemically dissolved away, leaving sheer areas next to opaque ones in the same cloth. The pattern comes from what has been removed, not from anything stitched or printed on.

Why is this cheaper than your other organza suits?

The amount of work. This one has thread embroidery; the ice blue and butter yellow organzas carry zari with sequins and beadwork, which takes far more labour. Same class of fabric, different hours.

Is organza breathable?

No. Organza is crisp and structured rather than cooling, despite how often it is sold as summer wear. For heat, cotton or mul cotton is the better choice.

What are the fabrics?

Organza for the shirt, brasso for the dupatta, taffeta for the bottom.

What is the work on it?

Thread embroidery on the shirt. No sequins, no zari.

Can I wash this at home?

No. Dry clean only — all three fabrics need it.

Can I iron it?

Not over the thread work. The brasso dupatta takes a low setting only, since the burnout areas are thinner and scorch easily.

How much fabric is included?

2.5 metres each for the shirt, bottom and dupatta.

Is this suit stitched?

No, it is unstitched — three fabric pieces. Stitching is available from us as a separate paid service.

What is the largest size it can be stitched to?

5XL.

Is shipping free on this suit?

No. Free shipping starts at ₹3,000 prepaid and this suit is ₹2,400, so shipping is calculated at checkout.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

Yes, at a flat ₹150 charge.

When will it arrive?

Dispatch within 48 working hours, then 3–7 business days in India. Add 7–15 working days if you order stitching.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

No. We do not accept returns for change of mind. Claims are limited to a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or the wrong item being sent, with a 360° unboxing video sent to care@studiojazzldh.com within 24 hours of delivery. Approved claims are settled as store credit valid 12 months, not a monetary refund.
