Black work on peach pink
An unusual pairing, and a deliberate one. Black on a soft pink is sharper than the tonal embroidery most pastel suits carry β the work reads as graphic rather than decorative, which keeps the colour from tipping into sweetness.
It also means the embroidery is visible from across a room, which tonal work on pastel never is.
Mul Chanderi is not mul cotton
The two get used interchangeably and they are not the same cloth. Mul Chanderi carries the fine, slightly translucent quality of Chanderi weaving with the lightness of mul β a soft sheen that plain mul cotton does not have, and a little more structure.
On a pale pink that sheen matters: it keeps the colour clear rather than chalky.
The work
Thread embroidery with sequins. The sequins are the reason this needs more care than a plain suit β see below β and the reason it catches light when you move.
Who this suit is for
Daytime functions and festive daywear β a mehendi, a lunch, a family celebration. Soft enough for the afternoon, worked enough not to look plain.
Not the one if you want low-maintenance. Pale pink shows marks, sequins catch on things, and it is dry clean only. For everyday cotton you can wash at home, our Rozana suits are the better answer.

Stitching is a separate service, charged on top of the fabric price. Message us with what you need and we will confirm the cost and the timeline. Stitched orders take 7β15 working days before dispatch.
Care
Dry clean only. Chanderi needs it regardless, and thread work will pull in a home wash.
An iron will melt the sequins. Never press the worked areas. Iron only the plain fabric, on a low setting, from the reverse through a cloth.
Store folded with a cloth layer rather than pressed against other garments β sequins catch and drag.
