What rama green is

Rama green is a specific shade in the Indian colour vocabulary — a deep green with a distinct blue lean, sitting somewhere between emerald and teal. Hand wash only, in cold water with a mild detergent. Dry in shade rather than direct sunlight — sunlight is harder on a printed cotton than washing is, and a deep green fades more visibly than a muted shade. Wash separately the first time, as cotton prints can release a little colour on the first wash.
