Before you stitch

We recommend lining the shirt. Mul cotton is fine and light, and a lining gives the kurta better fall and opacity — worth doing on an off-white in particular. Taffeta is what we suggest. The lining fabric is not included in this set; your tailor can source it in a matching off-white. We can stitch this suit up to size XL (42).

Styling it

A kurti-style neckline is what the neck patti work is designed for, so keep that shape if you want the work to sit as intended. Straight-cut suits the scattered booti best. For everyday, keep jewellery minimal and let the coral do the work; for a festive version, coral or gold jhumkas lift it without needing a third colour. The scalloped dupatta is worth draping open rather than folded narrow, so the four-side detailing shows.

Care

Hand-wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent. Wash this on its own, particularly for the first few washes, as the coral work is a strong colour against an off-white base. Do not wring or soak. Dry in shade and iron on the reverse, avoiding the dori work directly. Mul cotton softens with every wash.

Dori work uses a fine cord stitched onto the fabric to build a raised outline. On this suit it forms the coral neck patti, the sleeve work, and the small booti motifs across the shirt and dupatta.

Does this suit need lining?

Yes, we recommend lining the shirt for better fall and opacity, and we suggest taffeta. A lining piece is not included in this set — your tailor can source it in a matching off-white.

Is this suitable for summer?

Yes. Mul cotton is naturally lightweight and breathable, which is what makes it comfortable through a long day.

How do I wash it?

How soon will it be dispatched?

Within 48 working hours of order confirmation. Delivery is usually 3–7 business days after dispatch. Orders placed on Sundays or holidays are processed the next working day.

What is the shipping charge?

Prepaid orders of ₹1,500 and above ship free, so this suit qualifies.

Can I return it?

We follow a no-return policy except where the product arrives with a manufacturing defect, is damaged, or is different from what you ordered. To raise a claim, record a 360° unboxing video while opening the sealed package and email it with your order details to care@studiojazzldh.com within 24 hours of delivery. Approved claims are resolved as StudioJazz Store Credit, valid 12 months.
