What this is, and what it isn't

The motifs are woven, in the Banarasi manner. We call it Banarasi-style, not Banarasi silk — the weave is what we can stand behind, and the fibre is art silk rather than silk. That distinction matters at this price, and we'd rather you hear it from us than find out later.

Art silk is a man-made fibre. It takes colour brilliantly, which is why the magenta reads as deep rather than washed out, and it drapes light. It is not silk and we do not sell it as silk.

The colour pairing

Magenta with a mustard dupatta is a warm, high-contrast combination — the mustard lifts the magenta instead of muting it. The dupatta is printed and full-width, so it carries the look on its own if you dress the suit down.

Who this suit is for

Well-suited to festive wear — family functions, pujas, a sangeet, a festival lunch. It reads as celebratory rather than formal.

Care

Dry clean only. Do not machine wash and do not wring. Iron on a low setting, and never directly over the woven motifs.

No. We have a no-return policy. Approved claims are resolved as store credit valid for 12 months, not a monetary refund.

Will the dupatta print match the photo exactly?

Close, but placement varies piece to piece on a 2.5 metre cut. That variation is normal and is not a defect.
