Black on maroon

A dark ground is the most forgiving thing in a cotton wardrobe. Maroon takes the wear of an ordinary day — dust, a spill, a long afternoon out — far better than a pale base would, and the black print keeps it from reading flat.

It's also why this one carries past summer in a way a light cotton doesn't.

No lining needed

The cotton is opaque enough to wear on its own. That saves you a layer, saves you heat, and saves you a line on your tailoring bill.

How to wash it

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Dry in shade. Wash it separately the first time.

Dark cotton releases colour on its first wash — every dark cotton does. Washing it on its own that first time is the whole precaution. After that it settles, and the fabric softens with each wash rather than wearing out.

Shade-drying matters more on a dark suit than a pale one: direct sun will lift the maroon.

Care

Hand wash only, cold water, mild detergent. Dry in shade. Wash separately the first time. Iron on medium while slightly damp.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

No. We don't accept returns for change of mind. Claims are limited to a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or the wrong item being sent, with a 360° unboxing video sent to care@studiojazzldh.com within 24 hours of delivery. Approved claims are settled as store credit valid 12 months, not a monetary refund.

Will the print placement match the photo?

Closely, but placement varies piece to piece on a 2.5 metre cut. That variation is normal and is not a defect.
