What this is, and what it isn't

The kalamkari here is printed, not hand-painted and not hand block printed. Kalamkari is a South Indian narrative print tradition, and the printed version carries the same motifs at a price that makes it wearable rather than precious.

The bottom is art silk — a man-made fibre, not silk. We say so plainly because you should know what you are stitching. The dupatta is organza, which is crisp and holds its shape; it is a structured fabric, not a cool or breathable one.

Chanderi is the reason this suit reads as festive rather than everyday: a fine, slightly translucent weave with a soft sheen that catches light without shining.

Who this suit is for

Well-suited to festive wear — pujas, family functions, a daytime wedding event, a festival lunch. The maroon carries weight, so it holds up in a room full of people.

Care

Dry clean only. Chanderi and organza both need it. Do not machine wash, and do not wring the dupatta. Store folded with a cloth layer rather than on a hanger — organza creases hold.

No. We have a no-return policy on this suit. Returns are accepted only for a manufacturing defect, damage in transit, or the wrong product being sent — and that claim needs a 360° unboxing video emailed to care@studiojazzldh.com within 24 hours of delivery. Approved claims are resolved as store credit valid for 12 months, not a monetary refund.

Will the print look exactly like the photo?

Close, but not identical. Print placement varies piece to piece on a 2.5 metre cut. That variation is normal and is not treated as a defect.
